Hi gais.

My Macbook has been taken away from me ;___; I watched the person in the Apple store carry it away last Friday... and it's been gone ever since. It was like watching your pet being carried into the operating room (LOL...).
Apparently it needs a new motherboard. I've been having a problem with the internal speakers (they don't work at all, but there is still sound when I plug in headphones or external speakers) for months now. I finally got around to doing something about it, which is good because my warranty runs out in January! orz; I had been putting it off because I didn't want it to get taken away because I use it for all my work... but in the end it was taken away anyway. Blarg... Now I'm so deprived...

Edit! I got it back today yay lol |D *clings to it*

Yeah... I haven't written a journal in a while. I guess I don't have anything to say 8D;
Not that there hasn't been a lot of stuff going on, it's just hard to write about it and have other people read it etc....

Something completely unrelated...
Have you all noticed how much Christmas stuff is up in stores etc?? I find it so annoying.... working in retail is kind of taking the fun out of Christmas for me ;_; (I have to see all this stuff every time I go into work...) It really IS sickeningly materialistic. I enjoy giving people close to me presents; Christmas is a nice excuse to do so. However... I think it's going too far. Christmas is now 90% shopping. The companies love it because it's where they make most of their money (no surprise there).
Really, none of us should be celebrating Christmas unless we follow the Christian religion. Christmas originated from the celebration of the birth of Christ, and the whole presents thing developed over time. That means that I probably shouldn't be celebrating |D; But since I've done so all my life with my family, old habits die hard....
Anyway, food for thought.
(Anyone who talks to me a lot is probably rolling their eyes because I go on this tangent every time we go out HAHA |DD; )
